INSPIRO Strikes An Amazing Partnership Deal With DSFN (Down Syndrome Foundation Nigeria)

I am so thrilled that this partnership/support for the DOWN SYNDROME FOUNDATION NIGERIA from INSPIRO organizers of the LAGOS JAZZ FESTIVAL is eventually coming to fruition. It had been on the drawing board for a long time.

You get to a point in life where if what you’re doing is not impacting, or imparting on lives…most especially  for the less fortunate, then it’s not worth embarking on. About 15 years ago I came to the conclusion that music…the arts…entertainment etc…should be used as a vehicle to bring awareness, and raise support for the divine mission that has been thrust into my hands – people living with Down Syndrome.

It is not coincidental that the Foundation organized a musical concert on March 21st this year to mark the WORLD DOWN SYNDROME DAY. It is also not coincidental that this synergy is coming at a time when this year’s theme for the WORLD DOWN SYNDROME DAY: MY VOICE,MY COMMUNITY  which seeks to encourage  the government , you , and civil society at large to include and get these lovely people involved in every tier of society.

It’s really about shining your light…and allowing others to shine theirs too!

Many thanks to Shaddie Bobo for charting a course, I pray, so many others will follow!

This is indeed a good news. Watch this space for more updates
