World Down syndrome Congress (WDSC) 2018, Glasgow, Scotland

Every 3 years, thousands of delegates from across the globe gather for the World Down Syndrome Congress (WDSC). For some, it’s to hear the latest information from world renowned speakers, cutting edge research presentations, and opportunities to socialize and meet people from across the Globe.

For some, it’s a time to make friends with families and with people with Down syndrome and meet people from different cultures and countries.

For others it’s time to be entertained by great performances from talented people with Down syndrome ; discover the latest in research on health, education, employment, independent living, and leisure and sporting participation; share in examples of inclusion for people with Down syndrome from across the world.

It is the world’s largest gathering of people with Down syndrome, and our delegates – Uloma Anyanwu, Awele Mordi, Solomon Omere and Eniola Oguneso from the Down syndrome foundation, Nigeria will be there to represent us in Glasgow, Scotland.

It’s a good work you guys are doing. I have a sister with down syndrome who will be 18 next week….she can’t walk nor can she talk coherently…my parent have tried all their best but setbacks arise due to fund… How can this organization help… Pain grips my heart to see her in the situation she is in
